Paul Hansen – Head Coach

New Head Football Coach Paul Hansen

After a two year stint in Texas, Paul Hansen will be returning to Springfield to take over leadership of the Parkview High School football team in 2017.  Hansen brings a long resume of record-breaking offense in each one of his coaching stops.  The move back to Springfield will be a full-circle moment for Hansen who was a football standout for the Evangel University Crusaders. 

For the past two seasons (2015 & 2016), Hansen was the offensive coordinator for the Southwestern Assemblies of God University (SAGU) Lions.  SAGU is an NAIA school in Waxahachie, Texas (20 miles south of Dallas).  In 2015, Hansen helped to lead the Lions to an 8-3 record, the best in school-history as well as a NCCAA Victory Bowl appearance and win. 

Prior to SAGU, Hansen spent one season at North County High School in Bonne Terre, Missouri where he was the assistant head football coach/offensive coordinator/quarterbacks coach.  From 2012-2013 he was the offensive coordinator/quarterbacks coach for the Marshfield Blue Jays.  In 2013, Hansen’s offense at Marshfield led the state in every classification in total offense, averaging 500 YPG.  

Hansen’s first coaching stop was at Hillcrest High School in Springfield,MO.  He coached the Hornet’s wide receivers from 2008-2011.  While at Hillcrest, three different receivers were named to the All-State team including Dorial Green-Beckham.

While at Evangel University, Hansen led EU to two Heart of America Athletic Conference (HAAC) Championships and playoff appearances in 2001 & 2005.  In 2005 he was both a Don Hansen Gazette Wide Receiver Honorable Mention All-American as well as a HAAC All-Conference Wide Receiver Honorable Mention. 

Hansen and his wife, Joanna, have been married for 11 years and have three daughters; Bria (May 2011), Londyn (July 2013) and one on the way (August 2017). 


 Ben Dougherty – Defensive Coordinator  

Coach Dougherty is beginning his 7th year of coaching for the Vikings after playing four years at William Jewell University in Liberty, Mo. He was promoted to Defensive Coordinator after leading the JV Defense for the last 7th years.  Coach Dougherty  graduated in 2011 with a Bachelor’s degree in both history and education. Coach Dougherty is a 2007 graduate of Glendale High School where he was a 3-year letterman for the Falcons, helping lead his team to 3 playoff appearances and 2 district titles.  Coach Dougherty works in the History department at Parkview and also assists the wrestling and track teams.  He and his lovely wife Mallory have been married for 3 years.


Scott Mitchell – Special Teams Coordinator/Running Backs         

Coach Mitchell is starting his 10th season with the Vikings, he spent 3 years serving as Head Freshmen Coach and this year will be working with Varsity Running Backs.  Mitchell is a native of Winamac, Indiana and was a two year letterman at Manchester College in IN.  Coach Mitchell has a Master’s Degree in Educational Administration from William Woods University and teaches Credit Recovery & Missouri Options at Parkview. Prior to PHS, Coach Mitchell has had coaching stops at Manchester High School in Indiana, as well as Carthage and Republic High Schools in Missouri.


Jeff Klein – Offensive Line

Coach Klein is from Tabernacle, New Jersey.  Klein played offensive line in high school and college.  While at Harding Coach Klein was a a 3 year starter and 1st team all-conference offensive tackle. He earned his Bachelors degree from Harding University, and his Masters Degree in Secondary Administration from Southwest Baptist University. Klein began his coaching career in 1985 as a graduate assistant at Harding.  He has also served as head football coach at Willard and Mountain View Liberty.  Coach Klein works in the Special Education Department of PHS as the Department Head. He and his wife of 27 years, Angie, have three girls: Kendall (PHS Grad ’09, former manager), Kara (PHS Grad ’16, former manager), and Kristen.  Coach Klein’s is going on his 11th year coaching at Parkview.

Darius Blow – Defensive Backs

Coach Blow will be entering his 6th season as an assistant for the Viking Football team, in his time with the Vikings he has worked with the Freshmen team, wide receivers, and currently serves as the Varsity Defensive Backs Coach. Blow played football for and graduated from Missouri State University in 2011.  While at MSU he was a 2 year letterman at Outside linebacker and earned a degree in construction management.  Blow attended Grandview High School near Kansas City, Mo and played quarterback.  Coach Blow has served in the special education department at Parkview for 3 years.



Chade Enloe- Defensive Line 

Coach Enloe joins Parkview for the 2017 Season as the Wide Receiver Coach/JV Offensive Coordinator.  Previously, Coach Enloe coached offensive line/JV Offensive Coordinator at Marshfield, High School.   Coach Enloe played college football at Kansas Wesleyan.  Coach Enloe is a graduate of Glendale High School.  Coach Enloe will be the ISS teacher at Parkview High School.  Chad and his wife Kayla has been married for a year.   

Gerlad Davis- Outside Linebackers

Coach Davis begins his first year coaching the outside linebackers with the Parkview Vikings.  Prior to coming to Parkivew, Coach Davis was the Running Back Coach at Central High School for the last two seasons.  Prior to Central, Coach Davis was an Assistant Football coach at Missouri State University.  Before Coach Davis coaching career started, he was a stand out running back for Missouri State.  Some of Coach Davis accomplishments include: 2007 Missouri State Team Captain, 2007 Missouri State’s single-season records for most touchdowns (19) and points (114), and 2007 Missouri State’s single game record for rushing touchdowns (5).  Coach Davis will be teaching at Jarrett Middle School a feeder to Parkview High School.  Coach Davis is from St. Louis, MO.  

Josh Woodiel – Offensive Line

Coach Woodiel is is a 2012 graduate of Parkview and is entering his 3rd year coaching for his Alma Mater.  Coach Woodiel will be going into his 2nd year teaching at Parkview in the science department.   While a student at PHS, Woodiel was a standout student athlete, starting on the offensive line for the Vikings.  Woodiel graduated from Missouri State University in 2016 with a degree in Science Education.
